10 reasons to choose Contractualis

Are you thinking about hiring a digital contract signing service? Do you want to make your document reliable and legally valid? Today we will discuss 10 reasons to choose Contractualis as your secure provider.

Contractualis is the number 1 platform for digital contract signing where our clients sign hundreds of digital contracts daily in a secure and easy manner.

Today we will talk about 10 reasons to choose Contractualis over the competition.

Before we begin, it’s important to know that with Contractualis you can create contracts, documents, meeting minutes, promissory notes, or simply certify a document with a Time Stamp.

You just need to purchase tokens that are exchanged for the ability to send a document.

It is worth noting that tokens are spent per document and not per signer, for attachments, or for specific functionalities. In other words, you can send a document with 12 signers for just 1 token.

You can create a free account and get free tokens now in the account registration section.

Ease of Use

Unlike other digital contract signing platforms, Contractualis offers a user-friendly experience.

Contractualis users learn to use the platform in just a few minutes, and the user interface is very intuitive.

To upload a contract for signing, simply drag the document to the main screen or click on New Contract.

Then it’s just a matter of following the steps, which are easy to navigate and each has a description of what it does.

Many people who have used other services have commented that Contractualis is very easy to use, but let’s not be mistaken; Contractualis is very powerful, secure, and reliable, designed with user needs in mind.

Electronic Signature

Currently, Contractualis allows for 2 types of signatures: handwritten signature and eSignature.

The handwritten signature allows users to sign with their computer or the Contractualis app by tracing their signature.

The eSignature is also accepted as an electronic signature and is more secure, as it is issued by the Tax Administration Service of Mexico.

Both signatures are reliable and secure, added to the document or contract on the signature page, and together with the Audit Trail, demonstrate that the person was aware and signed in accordance with the document.

The creator can request that the signer sign with either type or require only one type of signature.

Identity Verification

Optionally, the document or contract creator can request identity verification.

At Contractualis, we handle 2 types of Identity Verifications:

Identity Verification
This is a process where the signer, before signing, must position themselves in front of their computer or mobile device camera and take a photo of the front and back of their national identity document.

Proof of Life
This is a process where the signer, before signing, must position themselves in front of their computer or mobile device camera and record a video reading a random phrase.

Both identity proofs are reviewed by the document creator before proceeding.

Real-Time Notifications

During the signing process of a contract-type document, signers are notified via email that they need to sign. This notification can also optionally be sent via WhatsApp.

Similarly, when a document has been completed, signers are notified in real-time via email and WhatsApp.

An email will also send them a copy of the document, NOM-151 certificate, Contractualis certificate, and other important documents.

If notified individuals were added during the document process, they will also be notified of document events, even if they are not signers.

NOM-151 Certificate

At the end of your document submission, you receive a NOM-151 certificate generated by an authorized provider of the Ministry of Economy.

This certificate serves as proof of the document’s integrity and as a Time Stamp, certifying that the document was exactly as it was on a specific date, certified by a certified PSC in Mexico.

You can validate the original document along with the NOM-151 certificate on the PSC website at any time.

Blockchain Technology

Contractualis uses Blockchain technology to make its documents more secure and reliable.

When you finalize your document, a unique digital fingerprint of it is obtained, also known as sha-256 or hash.

This unique identifier is different for each document; if someone alters the document even by a comma or a period, the resulting hash is completely different.

This hash is sent to multiple Blockchain networks, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, where it enters a network block via a transaction.

Now, your document, or its unique document identifier, is in Blockchain networks and a Time Stamp can be obtained.

Furthermore, since validating a document also retrieves its hash, it is possible to verify that the document has remained intact and unaltered.

In short, what Blockchain allows is similar to what is obtained with the NOM-151 certificate: integrity and time stamp, but on a global scale, not just in Mexico.

Contractualis Certificate

At the conclusion of a document, all parties involved in a document, contract, or meeting minutes receive a Contractualis certificate.

This certificate includes the document name, identifier, hash or sha-256, and the document’s location in the cloud.

It also includes a QR code that can be scanned to validate the document; remember that it’s also possible to validate the document on the Contractualis website by uploading the main document.

Additionally, it contains the necessary information related to Blockchain and the Time Stamp in each of the networks where the document was included.

Validate Document

As mentioned in the previous point, it is possible to validate the document in 2 ways:

  1. Scanning the QR code contained in the Contractualis certificate, which will redirect you to a page indicating whether the document is valid or not.
  2. Uploading the original document to the Validate Your Document section on the main page of Contractualis.

In either case, you will be redirected to a page indicating whether the document is valid or not.

Moreover, if it’s a contract and there are signers, the signers of the document will be listed. The document hash, its location, and the option to download the main document, certificate, NOM-151 certificate, or everything in a compressed file will also be shown.

The complete document will be displayed, including information about the NOM-151 certificate and information related to the Blockchain networks where it was registered.

Legal Security

You should not forget that Contractualis was developed by a recognized team of Lawyers and Accountants who ensure that everything promised on the site is genuinely legally valid.

All documents generated in Contractualis are valid before a judge and serve as legitimate proof that a document existed as stated on a specific date.

Additionally, if the document includes signers, their identities are also properly validated under the law.
